Volunteer

If you are interested in becoming one of our dedicated volunteers, call Wild Bird Rescue at 940-691-0828 and request a volunteer information package be mailed to you.  You can also stop in and pick one up! 

• All volunteers must go through an Initial Volunteer Orientation. 
• All volunteers must be at least 18 years old.  Volunteers 16 and 17 years old must volunteer with an adult. 
• The majority of volunteers are needed for bird care during baby season (April through September). 
• Off-season volunteers are needed for fund raising, special events and outreach.
  
• Two main volunteer areas: Bird Care and Building and Maintenance
