Director of Rehabilitation
Adlai Olson, a native of Nacogdoches, Texas, is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She graduated with a Bachelors of Science with a focus in biodiversity and resource biology. Adlai has had a lifelong love and care for animals of all types and has geared her education and work experience towards that goal. She assisted in the capture and banding of local birds for research through her ornithology class and was on the board of the university animal advocate group Ragin’ Rescue. Adlai also has worked extensively with domesticated and wild animals as a veterinary technician, an assistant at a local rehabilitation center, and a caretaker at an animal shelter. Adlai has also serviced her community as a team member of the University of Louisiana Americorps chapter and has led several environmental and beautification projects through that title.
Adlai hopes to bring her energy, excitement, and love as Director of Rehabilitation at Wild Bird Rescue to the care of our local avian wildlife. She hopes to be an asset and leader for the Wichita Falls Community Board of Directors
